It is customary to see classic silicone solar panels on roofs and the sides of buildings. However, in order to exploit the potential of curved surfaces and tensile structures, today we can use organic photovoltaics, made from compounds dissolved in ink that are then printed and shaped using simple techniques. The result is a semi-transparent, flexible and light film that converts solar energy into electricity.
