Full biography
Domenico Salvatore is Full Professor of Endocrinology at the Department of Molecular and Clinical Endocrinology at the University of Naples Federico II.
After studying medicine, he specialized in endocrinology with a PhD in molecular endocrinology and a specialization in clinical endocrinology at the University of Naples Federico II.
His studies continued abroad, with a period of research at Brigham’s Thyroid Division Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Professor Salvatore has collaborated with some of the most prestigious scientific journals in the field of endocrinology, including “Frontiers” in Thyroid Endocrinology, “Journal of Endocrinology” – the official journal of the English Society of Endocrinology, “Hot Thyroidology” – journal of the European Thyroid Association, “Endocrinology” – official journal of the Endocrine Society, and “Thyroid” – official journal of the American Thyroid Association.
In addition, he is the Author and Co-Author of numerous scientific articles and peer-reviewed presentations, and thanks to his work has been a guest of many national and international conferences.
