The school of the future? Without subjects

According to the OECD, for several years the Finnish have held the title of the best education system in the world. However, they do not want to rest on their laurels. And they are thinking of overcoming the old concept of “subjects” and the traditional divisions of knowledge: therefore in history lessons there is also the chance to learn about technology and research techniques, communication and cultural exchange. And the old distinction between humanities and science will become a distant memory.
