University Course Cultura e Salute
Social Prescription
The fifth edition of the Cultura e Salute course concluded on 24 November. The programme is promoted by the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of USI – Università della Svizzera italiana, in collaboration with IBSA Foundation for scientific research and the Culture Division of the City of Lugano.

Nomadic – Song for biodiversity
Telmo Pievani and Gianni Maroccolo transformed the universal theme of migrations into a unique experience by interweaving philosophy, music, data and images.
On stage, an ensemble of remarkable voices and instruments performed pieces by C.S.I., Litfiba, Philip Glass, Franco Battiato and many others.
Fellowship 2024
Here are the winners of the 12th edition
The Scientific Committee of IBSA Foundation has selected the six winning projects from among 259 applications submitted from 45 different countries, awarding Fellowships of €32,000 each in the six scientific areas covered by the program.
On 27 May 2025, in the prestigious setting of Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan, the official award ceremony brought together winners, Scientific Board members, and leading figures from the academic and scientific communities.

Temporary exhibition
Through the Clouds is the first temporary exhibition hosted at Carlo Cattaneo House. On display are two works from the Anthropocene Collection of MUSE Science Museum in Trento, selected by curator Stefano Cagol. The exhibition features the youngest artists in the collection: Giacomo Segantin and g. olmo stuppia. Admission is free and no reservation is required.

The Happiness2.0 project continues for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years.
Lots of new things are coming up for high school students in the Canton of Ticino: the new theme of artificial intelligence and numerous experiential workshops. From this year HappyLab for adults too!
